The Wang Nam Marathon

Hey guys! It was an unbelievable day for us because of Culu's extraordinary performance of cycling. We just did about 176 km today and finally end up a town called Wang Nam Yen. It is a funny coincidence that we left this town called Wang Nam Khiao at 7.10 exactly and arrived here about 5 pm. We want it so badly to go to the sea at the last 15 days of our Thailand tour. Don't you worry cuz we will be back. I am not in a rush at all but Culu's visa is running out on 5th of december and we need to go to Cambodia before it expires. So we thought it would be just perfect to relax and enjoy some cool Thailand in the island Koh Chang. This morning our plan was heading south to Kabin Buri to take a train to Rajong and then ride around 2 days to reach the island but we luckily met this cool guy called Pat in his coffee shop in Kabin Buri. We were just asking where was the train station but later we learned that no train is going to Rajong directly from there. But Pat has a better plan instead. He suggested us to take the highway and head to Chantaburi and day after we can pass to Trat to take the ferry. We just pick that one.

Pat just saves two or three days of hours. When we were leaving his shop Culu found this sunglasses on the ground. He didn't bring one to the trip so it was his lucky day i guess. He will need it big time at the island.

I'm using every opportunity i find to rest.

This stupid bird was mocking around with me right before we left Wang Nam Khiao.

We didn't take too much pics today cuz Culu was busy by keeping up his goal. Soon after we leave we just find out that we are at a very high altitude in a rainforest. It was about 45 minutes of downhill right from the center of the forest. A very beautiful sight. We didn't get the first descent on camera. Culu's told me that it was the most enjoyable ride of his life. About 15 mins of non-stop descent. It was just crazy guys. Then he strart filming the second one. We will share the videos soon. Here are some snapshots from today. Bye!

  Khao Chakan

We also met hundreds of monkeys on the road.
